MN Office of Entrepreneurship

Thanks to everyone who participated in the July 19th Office of Entrepreneurship video conference. We had 8 locations and more than 60 participants statewide! A special thank-you to Representative Laura Brod and Representative Bob Gunther. We appreciate you taking the time to attend to discuss your thoughts on the Office of Entrepreneurship. You're always welcome to any of our upcoming meetings.

Meeting Follow-up

During the meeting we had the opportunity to discuss what's been happening across the state of Minnesota regarding entrepreneurship, including services and initiatives that support entrepreneurs. We asked, "how would a coordinating office/consortium help entrepreneurs across the state? And what form should it take?" Whether you were able to attend the meeting or not, you still have the opportunity to provide us with your thoughts about the topics discussed.  How?

We have put together a couple of web sites to track 1) your feedback on coordinating office/consortium on entrepreneurship in Minnesota and 2) information on existing services and initiatives for entrepreneurs.  Even if you were in the meeting, please take the opportunity to tell us about your services and post comments. If you have already sent me information, via email regarding your services, I will make sure that they are put into the online resource link provided below.

Provide us with a description of the services you offer entrepreneurs. Currently, in the state of Minnesota, we do not have a common directory of resources for entrepreneurs to use. This link will  provide us with a common area to enter your services and initiatives that can be collected and created into a directory. Many of you in the meeting also expressed the need for such a directory. Once the resources are collected, we will make sure that you receive the inventory of resources. Please feel free to forward the link on to your colleagues!

We have also created a web site for you to input your comments to the questions that were asked at the meeting "how would a coordinating office/consortium help entrepreneurs across the state? and what form should it take".
